As reported many times here, I am (still) working to ensure that our legally required Dutch health insurance, with worldwide (unlimited) coverage, is finally also accepted by the Thai government when issuing their required entry document (formerly CoE and currently ThailandPass).
Update FAQ entry conditions Thailand (November 4)
We live in uncertain times due to Covid-19. And that certainly applies to Thailandblog readers who would like to travel to Thailand. The entry conditions used to be very strict and are gradually becoming more flexible. For example, as of 1 November there is an important change with regard to the quarantine obligation and the CoE. We understand that this raises many questions. To try to create some order in the chaos, we are going to bundle the information here by means of an FAQ. This page will therefore be regularly updated.

Experiences with Emirates Multi-risk insurance?
It seems that most of the obstacles to traveling down to Thailand are disappearing. For some of us, the mandatory Covid now $ 50000 and Baht 40000/400000 insurance still remains current.

I want to go to thailand 2 november. I have prepared everything (insurance, visa, etc.), but when I complete the online application, it is not sent. There will be a message telling me to 'attach' my insurance papers. However, I just uploaded this one as requested. I've made several attempts. Can't get through.
Reader Submission: Procedure to apply for a CoE explained
Since October 1, the possibility to travel to Thailand has been made significantly easier. Nevertheless, I still notice that there is very negative talk about Thailand, entering it with the restrictive measures and the hassle of applying for a CoE.
Reader Submission: Statement of Insurance Dispute – Supplement
Following our posting of yesterday, September 30, about the statement of the SKGZ on the Statement of Insurance, this response from the SKGZ about my comment that, against my express wish, the statement was presented as “Binding”. Apparently the SKGZ overlooked this and acknowledged its mistake in the email below.
The ruling of the SKGZ was received on 29 September XNUMX and has been sent to the editors in full. Because I do not agree that suddenly, contrary to my request, the decision would still be binding, I have lodged a protest against this because it was against the agreement. I also refer to the appendices.

Thailand question: CoE – which standard statement from NL basic health insurer is accepted?
I am curious what the latest state of affairs is regarding the CoE acceptance by the Thai embassy of standard English statements of Dutch basic health insurance. This concerns CoE applications for visas that require 2 things: USD 100.000 covid coverage and 40.000/400.000 baht inpatient/outpatient coverage. For example, a re-entry Non O, a Non O, Non OA.
For some time now, several people, including myself, have been working to obtain a statement of insurance that meets the requirements set by the Thai government. Despite announcements from the political corner and also from my insurance company, most recently this week, that health insurers in the Netherlands are busy compiling such a statement, it is still not there.
