Free wifi on Pattaya beach a flop
The free WiFi service launched by the city council along Beach Road in Pattaya in November 2017 has turned out to be a flop. Only Thais can register, so foreign tourists are of no use.
Sellers are advised by the Pattaya City Council that painting markings on the footpath at Beachroad is prohibited. Reserving sales space during Songkran in this manner will be severely punished with legal action and a maximum fine.
