Thai narcotics police in action (video)
This video shows the Thai police in action in the arrest of a drug dealer on the highway.
Drugs, especially Yaba (also known as Yaa baa, Ya baa or Yah bah; in Thai: ยาบ้า, which literally means 'crazy medicine'), is a popular drug that is widely available in Thailand. Yaba, is methamphetamine in the form of a tablet. It is similar to speed but has a more powerful effect. It is a synthetic drug that causes a strong euphoric feeling and is extremely addictive. The Yaba pills contain 25 to 35 mg of methamphetamine and 45 to 65 mg of caffeine.
Yaba has been used in Thailand for over thirty years. In the beginning by truck drivers who took the pill to stay alert and to be able to drive longer. In the 90s, Yaba also became popular among Thai factory and agricultural workers, soon followed by prostitutes. In 1996, the Thai government decided to equate Yaba with hard drugs. For users and traders, this could even lead to the death penalty. Despite this, Yaba is still very popular in Thailand. It is cheap to produce and the profits from trading are attractive. Often users deal to pay for the addiction.

Please don't ever get involved with that stuff.
From me, a special warning for the inexperienced tourist who wants to go to a party, especially at a full moon.
Not out of curiosity either, in my time as a DJ I experienced the rise of that mess and saw a lot of misery.
Now I see it happening again around me in Thailand and families have to endure a lot of suffering because little brother wants to act so great towards others.
Also, never leave your drink unattended.
Better from a bottle or on a can with your finger on it.
There are also other pills, these give you a deep sleep and then be happy when you wake up in a hospital, although you certainly no longer have any securities and that beautiful necklace with that ring that everyone was allowed to see.
Good that this is brought to the attention on thailand blog .
Saw a beautiful family die in Patong Beach.
The woman is a masseuse on the beach and the man works with water scooters, they have a daughter and a son. The woman has now sent this to her parents because the children could no longer relax due to the many quarrels at home. She is also a been gone for a while but has come back to earn her living for the children. The man has become very addicted to jaba and you don't recognize anything from him before then, he was a nice guy who was always there for everyone .Now he obliges his wife to hand over part of her earnings to whom she actually needs for her children. We have seen the children grow up and they were two very sweet and cheerful children.
The last time we saw them, that joy was gone.
The father is still walking on the beach and when he sails with the water scooter he is really mad and dangerous.
But no one says anything about it because we think everyone is afraid of him .
And all because of that devilish jaba .
