Home » Reader question » Thailand reader question: Declaration or proof of vaccination with AstraZeneca?
Dear readers,
Have those who have been vaccinated with AstraZeneca in Thailand in recent weeks received proof that they have been vaccinated?
I myself received a first shot with AstaZeneca at the Banglamung Hospital in Pattaya at the end of July. Both the registration and the vaccination went smoothly, but after the shot I only received a form with an appointment for a second shot at the end of October.
However, I did not receive any proof that I have already been vaccinated once. In the consternation of the crowds and the relief that I had received the first injection, I did not really work on it at that time.
A neighbor who received a Pfizer vaccination a week later in the Samitivej Hospital in Sri Racha turned out to have received a statement of his first shot.
Not having received the certificate of my first vaccination is up to that. After the second injection, a statement in black and white is of course important. Who did receive a statement and how did this go about?
Regards,
Paul. Jomtien

If you have had your 2nd injection here in omkoi, you will receive a yellow card here with the injections you have had, is officially from the hospital. Then you can take it with you or take a picture of it, whatever you want.
I had my 2nd shot with Astrazeneca yesterday
and then a “certificate of Covid-19 vaccination”
got.
I had my first AZ injection on July 1 in the same hospital and also that piece of paper with some information and the date for the 2nd injection (September 23).
You probably registered via Mor Phrom just like me. In that app you can find the information regarding your first vaccination.
only after the 2nd shot and full vaccination you get a certification if I understood correctly.
No, I registered directly through a Banglamung Hospital website and a few days later my name was added to the appointment list. When I asked an employee for proof, after some searching he pointed to the QR code on the appointment form, but when I returned home it only led to general information. This may be different for those who are registered via Mor Phrom. Most importantly, of course, is that proof is provided after full vaccination.
On June 7, after my first Astrazeneca injection, I received a form that contains both the next appointment and the mention of the first April (date June 7) and also a QR code for the Line group. The back has, among other things, a stamp of the relevant hospital.
In Charoen Sin we had the App updated a day later. I have the official proof of the first injection on my smartphone.
It may indeed be that they only issue this proof of vaccination when the vaccination has been completed (2nd time). (Exception Johnson Johnson where 1x has already been completely vaccinated)
Without a written proof, where the name of the vaccinee and the vaccine are clearly stated, the fact that you are mostly protected is of little use for proof.
In the future, as already at various authorities, you will have to show proof of this vaccination almost everywhere, in order to be able to participate in an almost normal life.
I was vaccinated yesterday in Central Festival Pattaya, commissioned by Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, with the Pfizer vaccine… immediately after the vaccination I showed my yellow vaccination passport, and the nurse immediately added a note and a stamp… come back September 8 for the second…
after the 2nd vaccination you will receive a proof
