Dear readers,

Are there still people who received an e-mail from Thai Central Bankruptcy Court in which, after registration, they can enter their details to (hopefully) refund the flight tickets of THAI Airways?

My question is how you can add a copy of the (e-) ticket, request for a refund ... as proof at their request?

Regards,

Gust

I estimate that the court will first want a complete list of the creditors and the amounts involved. After that we will come with an offer to reimburse part of the amount (I estimate 30 to 40%). You can accept or reject that offer. The more people reject the offer, the greater the chance that Thai Airways will really go bankrupt.
If the bankruptcy is pronounced, you are at the back of the queue as a small creditor and you can certainly whistle for your money. In front of you are the state, the suppliers and the personnel. And then the money is 100% sure. So what is wisdom?

Good afternoon, in the attached link of Thai airways it is stated that ticket holders are not considered creditors of Thai airways. The tickets are still valid, they give as a statement and can be used later. We ourselves have applied for vouchers on the Thai airways website, the future will tell us whether they will still be valid in a year's time, I think.

      Emil,
I had first requested payment, but because the vouchers are now being extended until December 2022, I submitted an application (at TA in Brussels). I received a code, but that's all you received. Did you receive a confirmation?

Dear Pratana, I have indeed received a confirmation from TA Brussels in addition to the voucher code (via the TA website). I requested the vouchers fairly early and then TA Brussels gave another confirmation (manually, say) now the TA website gives the voucher code and you receive an e-mail confirming that you have requested the voucher and that the request is being processed is taken. So the confirmation is now a bit cryptic. But in principle the code is enough, if we can book again. The only question is when and of course the question remains whether Thai airways will remain Thai airways or whether it will suddenly become Thai airlines and that no voucher is valid anymore… so it remains a bit of a mystery. Let's hope they remain valid and that we can travel again next year.
