Dear readers,

My name is Raymond. I am a 65 year old Belgian. I live in Trang Province (Huai Yot District). I would like to get in touch with other Flemings (or Dutch-speaking people). Please within the radius of 100 km around Huai Yot.

Greeting.

Raymond

    Hi Raymond.
I think I know you from koh chang.
A man from Brabant lives in NST, he is a teacher. +/- same age as you.
Speaks, reads and writes Thai, he does not drink.
Lives near the end of 403.

Better check the map first. Pattaya and Trang are just a 1000 km apart. Isn't that a bit far to meet Dutch-speaking people?

    Thungsong.
I think there's another flame living near him.
Yang can ask for the address through my girl.

I come across the same here, I feel like the only West Fleming (coastal) here in and around Chiangmai. I live in Hang dong.

Make sure you get to know the Thai in your area first.
You will be surprised how pleasant most of them are if you take the time to get to know them. They prefer not to ask.
They will even tell you, without question, where your compatriots live. You really don't have to search 100 km for contacts.
    However, they will be disappointed
because they themselves live in your neighbourhood.
    I think it's a shame.
