Dear readers,

I regularly transfer euros from Belgium to Thailand via Wise and it works perfectly. Is it also possible to transfer money from Thailand to Belgium via Wise?

Does anyone have experience with this, if not is there another way to transfer money from Thailand to Belgium?

Regards,

Johan

It might depend on how you signed up with Wise.

I had done that from Thailand and needed a Thai credit card for that.
This theoretically allows me to transfer money to my Wise account more cheaply.
I think a transfer via the bank will be more expensive, because you are sending money from a Thai account to a Belgian one.
Why not ask Wise himself? Or did you already do that and perhaps you didn't get an answer (yet)?

    Dear Johan,
I have already transferred money to Belgium a few times via the Deemoney app and was very satisfied with it (quick and inexpensive).

Via Wise you can transfer money to any account at any bank.

I don't think this is possible. THB is not mentioned when sending money. When searching on Google I came across this:

Can I send money out of Thailand using Wise?

We aren't authorized by the Bank of Thailand to issue FET forms.

So I would also like to thank Gino for his tip, because due to time constraints I had to do it through my own bank. And that is expensive.
