Last night more or less coincidentally on NPO 3 watched the first part of culinary world tour “Sergio & Axel: Off the map”. It is about a culinary world tour of the Dutch top chef Sergio Herman and the Flemish actor Axel Daeseleire to Thailand, Japan, India, Mexico, Lebanon and Norway. In each country, they immerse themselves in the local culture and taste the food.

I just read Gert's question. He wants to know which visa for 4 months in Thailand and 8 months in the Netherlands: “I read somewhere that you then remain as a registered resident of the Netherlands, which has all kinds of advantages.” No comments are possible.
Gert has clearly heard the bell ringing, but….

My wife has been in Belgium for 9 years now, everything is fine with her. She has followed integration courses, works, we have a son, and she has a Belgian ID+ card. Now to apply for Belgian nationality they need a new birth certificate, the previous one dates from 2009. Because we can't travel now, it will have to be done with a power of attorney.

Last year I was exempt from tax on my pension, to be extended in 2024. Now I only pay on the AOW. Do I still have to file a declaration or is that no longer necessary?

My 3 Thai friends depart from Amsterdam with KLM on February 26 to BKK. COE ready, now Fit to Fly and install the app. As discussed earlier, the KLM site reports the need for a PCR test, although the Thai embassy does not consider this necessary. We have chosen MediMare where you can arrange Fit to Fly online (no PCR test and no physical examination, just answer questions).

Casual insults are hurled at people from Laos all over Thailand every day. These insults stem from a sense of superiority instilled in Thais at school from an early age: “Thais are better than their neighbours, the Lao.”

I'm going to NL again with Lufthansa on March 27 and my girlfriend would like to come with me for three months. However, I think she must then be repatriated via the embassy and I think that goes through KLM. It therefore seems to me difficult and expensive to buy a return ticket for her from Lufthansa now, and then have to purchase a one-way return flight from KLM in three months' time.

If I want to send a letter or package from Thailand I MUST include my phone number and the recipient's phone number. But what if the recipient does not have a phone number? Or is this arbitrary from the post office? Now I only mention a made-up phone number. How do you do that?

I have heard in the corridors that when Thai people have finished their studies, let's take a teacher as an example, they are not just hired with an application, but that they are paid large sums to get the job. 200K Bant would be no exception. Is this nonsense or the reality in Thailand, and does this happen regularly?

The Netherlands has therefore played an important role in the history of aviation. For example, Anthony Fokker (1890 – 1939) was a famous Dutch aviation pioneer and aircraft manufacturer.

Convert visa to married visa. I have an OA visa, there you are obliged to take out insurance 40.000/400.000 baht and eg. 800.000 in the bank. If I now convert my visa into a married visa with my next visa extension, am I still obliged to take out the same insurance 40.000/400.000 baht? Then I only need to have 400.000 in the bank.
