I arrive in Jomtien on January 3, having a cigar every day in a nice environment seems great to me. Would you like to hear about the prices of the Cohibas and other Cuban delicacies and where you can find this fun? Because that saves me searching.

Reader question: Why is immigration in Chiang Mai difficult?

I am in transit and want to report my 90 days in Chiangmai. Chiangmai apparently has two immigration offices, one near the airport and one in the Promenade complex. So I go to Promenade. There they casually tell me to fill out a TM30, have it stamped at the airport, then come back.

Sinterklaas could look back on a resounding success in Hua Hin after Saturday evening. More than a hundred parents and more than 30 children came to Say Cheese for the birthday of the good saint. He was accompanied by two real Black Petes and his fungus.

Go to Thailand for 5 weeks at the end of December, so visa is required. Now I read on the website lovepattayathailand.com that you do not have to pay a visa fee for stays longer than 30 days in the coming peak season

A death in Isaan – last day

On Friday morning, De Inquisitor stays at home on the advice of sweetheart. It's going to be a tough day, she predicts. We don't go to Poa Deing's house together until around twelve, by car because we have stock. We know that traditionally they will be short of booze and now we don't have to drive back and forth every time a generous guest decides to serve beer or lao kao.
