Thailand will give priority to vaccinating restaurant staff
The government has drawn up a vaccination plan for restaurant workers. This plan coincides with the easing of Covid-19 restrictions and the resumption of dining in restaurants.
Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul inspected the vaccination program for employees of the Thai Restaurant Association at Bang Sue Grand Station on Friday. More than a thousand restaurant owners and their staff were vaccinated on Friday with a mix of Sinovac and AstraZeneca.
According to Anutin, more than 30.000 of the 63.000 restaurant workers, in Bangkok and neighboring provinces, have already been vaccinated, and the rest will be vaccinated within two weeks. 5.000 doses per day are reserved for this.
The minister wants to reserve even more doses for restaurant staff in other provinces, because they are considered a high-risk group who meet many customers every day.

Well what about the shop staff or bank staff; customers often line up in rows of 3 at the 7eleven and ditto at the banks. Or market people to indicate a real group who see a multitude of customers compared to the restaurants.
Gosh, yet another new plan to fit into the bigger picture.
When will the Thai government finally start working on 1 single, according to a very simple and therefore easy to imply and monitor methodology plan that is aimed at the smooth vaccination of EVERY resident of this country?
It is bad enough that that scheme has already been thoroughly disrupted by giving priority first to the elite, then to the police, army, civil servants and teachers, the staff of influential Thai companies, not to mention the intimates who represent all those interest groups in their carry along.
The old immature and especially insolvent citizen who always has to stand at the very back in Thailand, now suddenly has to stand at the very front for the first time. At least as far as the worst risks of the pandemic are concerned.
Fie again, Thai authorities!

Totally agree. Every day I see several new plans passing by from the kindergarten level, but a solid structural approach is missing so far. Saw in a message yesterday that Thailand will introduce the so-called booster injection in October, or a third injection, while most of Thailand has not even had the first. Ridiculous.
With all their published figures, everyone should have been vaccinated at least once by now, you can see how these rulers cheat with the figures, but oh well, nothing strange, of course they have been cheating with everything for 1 years
My girlfriend works as a cook in a restaurant in duty, but she wants
no AstraZeneca or Sinovac at all, the first vaccine has simply been discontinued in england and denmark,
and that chinese junk only protects 45%.
She is waiting for Moderna or pfizer, these vaccines are the sports cars of vaccines, they will soon be sold by private clinics for about 3600 baht for two injections, so just be patient.
How do you come to the fact that England has put Astrazeneca aside? England is precisely the country where Astrazeneca is heavily used. Developed in Oxford. Where was that again?

It seems to me that your friend in Plichit had better wait a little longer. No idea how young she is but the Infection Survival Rate is 99,9% should she get it (Source: Drs Ioannidis & Axfors at Stanford)
Unfortunately there are no sports cars among the vaccines the latest report from EudraVigilance(Aug 28) indicates that Pfizer now has 11266 deaths and 900032 severe side effect in the name of the vaccine and is Moderna with a death rate (from the number of reported cases) of almost 6 % most dangerous.
Maybe she should take it mandatory but that would be outrageous in my opinion.
would think about it again Rob. I myself had pfizer and now suffer from tinnitus after this vaccination and I'm not the only one. There are already more than 4000 reports. I can tell you it drives you crazy. I was a healthy person but I was persuaded to do it anyway, I'm sorry like hair on my head.
Greetings Jan
Annoying for you that your ears are ringing, I now have two too
times had pfizer after refusing AstraZeneca for 4 months and with me
tens of thousands of others, I must honestly say that I am not bothered by anything, and also
not all my acquaintances and friends around me.
