Airport tries to seduce airlines

Airport or Thailand, the manager of Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang, wants to use some advantages to persuade the budget airlines to move to Don Mueang to combat the congestion on Suvarnabhumi. If ThaiAirAsia and Orient Thai Airlines alone were to move, that would save 7 million passengers a year.
Both companies are not eager to move because they have had to do so three times in the past. The board of AoT is therefore considering issuing a guarantee of possibly 10 years, in which they will not be asked to move again. It is also being considered to offer preferential landing and parking rates, although the airlines have not requested this. So far, only Nok Air has returned to its old base.
AoT is under pressure from Prime Minister Yingluck to move all budget airlines to Don Mueang.
Suvarnabhumi is designed for 45 million passengers. 51 million passengers are expected this year. The congestion has led to long queues at passport control and delays.

We are flying to Sura Thani in a few weeks. With Nok Air. From Don Muang. They don't have to seduce the passengers, if you ask me. DM is and has always been a great airport.
The majority of the passengers of these 2 companies are domestic flights and they do not go through passport control / immigration.
So those long queues at passport control will continue.
The 7 million passengers are mainly from TAA. This number was mentioned by the director of Don Mueang. So you're claiming that this man talks out of his ass? How can you be so sure?
It concerns the budget airlines, so it may not matter how many of which aircraft are or are not from abroad. It concerns more than 2 airlines, think of AirAsia, there are probably a lot.
I also think DM is a nice airport, cozy and ugly but it works fine. Just turn the air conditioning down a bit, it's so cold there sometimes. Then maybe the price of the Burger King can be lowered a bit (haha 180/220 baht for a small menu). Have flown there at least 10 times with Nok for sometimes only 25 Euro. Checking in with your EU ID card that is not even valid here WONDERFUL! Udon Thani, Chiang Mai, Phuket…

Have flown up and down there at least 10 times with Nok for sometimes 25 Euro. So about 20 x flying around 1.000 Euro is of course super. Checking in with your EU ID that is not even valid here WONDERFUL!
