I have a question about Belgian taxes. Until now I paid maintenance money from Belgium to my Thai mother-in-law without any problem. I was never asked for an explanation. However, since December 2023, I have emigrated to Thailand and am subject to a special tax year. I have never received a letter or any form of communication from the tax authorities about this.
