Expansion of the airport in Trang
Trang airport will be expanded to handle the increasing flow of tourists visiting the coastal province on the Andaman Sea. The runway will be extended, a new terminal will be built and the tarmac of the runway will be renewed.
DoA deputy chief Witthawat expects the expansion to be completed by 2022, which will allow the airport to handle 3,4 million passengers a year. now there are 800.000.
