In the coming months, the Dutch embassy will offer the opportunity to apply for a Dutch passport or identity card, have your life certificate signed and/or receive a DigiD activation code at four different locations in Thailand.
The planned dates and places are listed in the overview below.
If you would like to make an appointment for one of these events, please send an email to [email protected]. In the email, please state your full passport name and date of birth, the date and location of the appointment and which consular service(s) you want to use (passport, DigiD and/or life certificate). You will then receive the time and location of your appointment and any further instructions.
There is a maximum number of registrations for applying for a passport. Make sure you register on time.
- Khon Kaen: Thursday April 4
- Chiang Mai: Tuesday April 30 and Wednesday May 1
- Pattaya: Wednesday May 15
- Phuket: Wednesday June 5
In the second half of this year, the embassy will also visit Hua Hin, Cambodia and Laos for these consular services. These dates will be announced at a later date.
Yours faithfully,
Dutch Embassy Bangkok

Thanks for this useful information.
All necessary information has been forwarded, now I have to wait and see if I can go to CM.
So far the information from the embassy was useful
Is this an annual event?
I have to renew my passport next year and Khon Kaen is closer than Bangkok. Still another 190 kilometers, but God. Next year at the same time would be nice. Thank you in advance.
Dear Han,
Since the Dutch passport is valid for 10 years, you could consider renewing it this year.
Then you will need to be replaced a year earlier in 2034.
