Home » Reader question » Reader question: Who can recommend me a plastic surgeon in Pattaya?
Dear readers,
I'm thinking about having my eyelids done by a plastic surgeon. I will be in Jomtien for 6 weeks.
Does anyone have experience with such treatment? For example, is there a good surgeon in Pattaya?
Thanks for your help and regards,
F.
5 of my friends who regularly come on holiday to Pattaya have had their eyelids lifted.
Without exception, all went to Pattaya Bangkok Hospital, and everyone satisfied with the result.
If you want to know the name of the doctor and the costs, I have to send an email to the Netherlands.
Hi Henk, I am also very curious about eyelid correction and its costs in Thailand. Greetings and thanks in advance, Frans
Hallo,
The Bangkok Pattaya hospital costs approximately €500 for both eyelids and that is a very good hospital. A Dutch-speaking interpreter may also be present during the intake interview with the doctor in question.
And after more than a week you don't really see much of the blue eyes anymore if you stick to the after-treatment.
Kind regards, Pim
Tip: Go there first to find out the price, etc. and then plan it at the right time, because you will have blue and purple around your eyes for 3 weeks.
Especially NOT Dr Anuchit at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital. That man is (was?) a disaster: my face crooked, eye bags not symmetrical, BIG scars. Needed 2 operations in NL to repair eea.
In 2006, Anuchit was head of the plastic surgery department. Is originally just a doctor, and has no specific training as a plastic surgeon.
Later spoke to another surgeon, at a clinic in soi Town in Town, who reported to me that he has often been able to perform repair operations of Bangkok Pattaya Hospital
Thank you Kees. Happy with the warning. I'll ignore that hospital. 🙁
Soi Town in Town, royal beauty clinic, indeed has a good doctor who has performed repair operations on me, including above eyelid correction and removal of bags under the eyes, this clinic is really recommended.
Because I remember it myself, I've asked around here and there, apparently the Thonglor Clinic on Thappraya Road (to the Pattaya Tower) is very good and has reasonable prices.
In Jomtien there are offers every now and then because next to their clinic in Bangkok, this clinic needs to get even greater brand awareness from them.
Kind regards Oscar
Hi,
I had my eyes lifted in December 2012 at Bangkok Pataya Hospital. Was converted about 600 euros. If you use the cooling (you will receive after the operation) properly, your blue eyes will not be too bad. I was out of it in a week.
Had very good treatment. a week later the stitches are removed. I was soon able to wear my lenses again.
Certainly no regrets.
Moderator: That's right Cor, this will indeed not be posted 😉
Sorry, but I don't understand any of this. Why would anyone want to 'lift' their eyelids. Do they sometimes close at inconvenient times? Can someone explain this to me? (reader question).
Ha ha Cor, I can try. Although I myself do not feel like tinkering with my body unnecessarily, it is true that people generally consist of a body and a mind. Where almost everyone finds it useful to maintain the mind and no explanation needs to be given, people even want to stay young at heart, it is simply the case that some also want to maintain their body. You can call it vanity, but it makes people feel good to still look a little presentable. For that reason, but mainly because I enjoy it, I continue to do sports. Plastic surgery, provided it is not overdone, helps to keep looking good. Personally, I don't want to run the risk of things going wrong and it quickly becomes unnatural, such as dyed hair (often with unabashed roots) or even worse, a wig. But if you can keep looking a little more presentable with a little help, you could say 'why not'. There are also many men who shave every day for this reason and who trim their nails regularly. The question is more: how far do you want to go.
Thank you dear Bram, but it still does not answer my question. I don't understand what the hell could be wrong with human eyelids (unless they scrape the ground). Bags under the eyes, drooping corners of the mouth, three buttocks, I understand the motivation for consulting a plastic surgeon, but eyelids? What could possibly be wrong with your eyelids? And especially when I read that after the operation you look like a boxer after a very bad match.
With drooping eyelids, one constantly looks as if one has just got out of bed, sleepy and tired even though one is wide awake. Honestly, I'd do it myself.
An additional advantage is that people look younger, although that is not really necessary in Thailand given the (almost) always large age difference. 😉
@Sircharles,
Ok, it's a bit clearer to me now, but Sylvester Stallone's bedroom eyes didn't do that man any harm. 😉
I also had my eyelids lifted, not in Thailand but in Belgium. Costs 1000 euros, and the results are impressive. No blue or green eyes and threads out after 7 days.
But why…because the skin above my eyes was blocking normal straight vision.
Now not only do I look better, I also look younger, in that order,
Janin, You explain it clearly. In addition. As people get older, the skin of the eyelids begins to droop over the eyelashes in many people. In worse cases, the eyes become so blocked that an operational correction is required to restore vision. Most insurance companies will reimburse the costs of such an operation if it is properly documented. If the purpose of the same operation is not to see better but to look better, insurance companies will not cover it. In general, the costs of cosmetic surgeries are not covered by insurance unless, for example, they are necessary as a result of an accident.
Cor,
Maybe this will help

I am in Pattaya myself and am quite ill. Go to Bangkok Pattaya, Hospital an excellent institution. But NEVER go to Pattaya Memorial hospital. Terrible that's one money win right there. For example, they ask 45000 bath for one night's stay; I've taken first hand information and my name is Dr. Teerasut Wattazjingporn as the best. I hope you can do something with that.
Regards RON44
Bangkok Hospital Pataya is definitely recommended in that regard.
They really do everything there, and you have the feeling of walking into a 5 star hotel.
friends of ours also had this procedure done there, the treatment before-during and
after the treatment is really perfect.
In addition, the treatment there is much cheaper too.
I read enough experiences. If it is successful in Thailand, fine, but if it is not successful then scream bloody murder. Back in the Netherlands, the Dutch doctors can fix it again. Include the flight and accommodation. I think it will cost you more. But yes, there are Dutch people who want to sit in the front row for a dime. What are you doing it for, for the cheapness. Excellent facilities in your own country.
Let's not talk about the tattoos.
Greetings Jan Tebbes
Hello Jan, I think and believe if you want to have an operation like this done in Thailand Pataya, then it is best that you take a look at the Bangkok Pataya hospital that is located on the Sukimvit, everyone knows where that is, but a comment it is there are quite expensive, it is best to take a look and ask for some information so you know where you stand.
Regards Tony
Absolutely right Tony. Bitten by a dog last year. Went to Bangkok Hospital in Pattaya, located on the Sukimvit. Very good help. Tetanus syringe and four rabies syringes. Total costs, including medical assistance € 108,00. Back in the Netherlands I had to have 1 rabies injection.
Costs 1 syringe € 67.50. Well, so there is a difference. Let alone 5 syringes. Tetanus syringe was calculated separately. You all get well.
Yes, the Bangkok hospital, I was also there about 6 weeks ago, I had a splitting headache, was neatly assigned the Dutch interpreter, explained my problem, and photos had to be taken, and that also happened three of them, which showed that I had a forehead cavity infection and a bright red throat, the doctor prescribed three medicines, antibiotics and two medicines for the slightly inflamed throat, of course I had submitted my medicine passport Came home immediately according to prescription I took medicines, it By now it was afternoon, what stood out was that I started to pee more and more difficult, at night it almost didn't work anymore, I was about to burst.
The next morning straight back to the hospital, the doctor from the previous day was not on duty, so another doctor, told my story from the previous day, and showed her the medicines I had been given, it turned out that one of the medicines had an anti-urine effect. was a remedy, she took it and prescribed me another medicine, which she said I could take immediately, whatever I did, when I came home I first took a good look, it turned out that I was only allowed to take it before going to sleep, I didn't trust it at all anymore, and immediately called the emergency center in Amserdam. In short, I had received the wrong medicines from both doctors, which I had to stop immediately. After a few more difficult days, things turned out well. But no more Bankok Hospital for me
Bankok Hospital is definitely one of the best in the world, whatever people want to make of it here. Many high-ranking people from the Middle East prefer treatment here than in their own country. The doctors are of a very high level and apply the latest techniques. I experienced the latter myself. In Belgium I am busy with the healing process for a while, but here everything was resolved after 12 days.
It's a choice you make, if people keep complaining just stay home. Trauwen s, Bangok Hospilal has obtained the trophy of best hospital complying with Thai Constitution BE 2540 and BE2541 in 2013
Hello. I had my eyelids done at Bangkok Hospital in Pattaya. Very well done and very clean. If you go there, it will be your turn within a few days. Have not been black and blue at all and was already on the beach the next day. With good sunglasses. The prices are also very favorable. And you get good medicines.
Undoubtedly many good arses in Bangkok Pattaya Hospital.
But don't get a facelift done by Anuchit;
He applied a technique from the 70s. With a good facelift, the top layer of skin is detached from the bottom, the bottom layer is pulled taut, after which the top layer is draped over it (and excess skin is cut away).
With a well-executed facelift, the tension is therefore on the lowest layer of skin.
On me, Anuchit simply cut away a piece of skin and pulled it taut. All the tension was on the top layer of the skin -> in the following months the scar got wider and wider.
In addition, he pulled the right half up an inch and the left half of my face only backwards.
(The positive effect of a facelift with the wrong technique is gone after 1-2 years!)
You really need to be in Bangkok Pattaya Hospital. I had my eyelids done there 3 years ago. everything went perfectly. Highly recommended and I am still very happy with it to this day. You can go there without an appointment and ask for the Belgian nurse Danny who will help you further. I was helped that same day by a very skilled surgeon. Costs 550 euros
Morning F,
In one of the comments, Royal Beauty Clinic is mentioned as being a good one.
Would you still recommend comparing this (price) with Bangkok hospital, as it is already said that the plastic surgeon here is good.
.
I also recommend that you buy a tube (1) of ARNICA BRUISE RELIEF CREME.
Also an ARNICA COOLING GEL.
Stimulates the blood circulation of your skin, (1) so helps the color palette in your face.
Take it with you from Holland to be sure, because not every pharmacy has it here.
After a week as good as color-free and then the cooling gel on it.
And act well in bangkok pattaya hospital.
They count with a fork.
Success.
Louise
