Reader question: Problems booking Eurowings ticket
Dear readers,
For years I have flown with Eurowings from Köln to BKK and later from Düsseldorf to BKK. However, at the moment I cannot look beyond the end of October to see if tickets are available and what the corresponding prices are.
I already called Eurowings, but this lady couldn't tell me why I can't plan beyond the end of October.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the reason?
I'm very curious what the reason is for the lack of prices, I think they compete too much with their own parent company Lufthansa, but that's a gamble.
Regards,
Maikel
I'm running into the same problem.
Last time I flew with Eurowings in July and was already looking for January, but alas.
Asked the flight attendant and she told me that the flight will probably depart from Munich, but she wasn't sure either.
Inquired at the service desk at Düsseldorf Airport and they told me the same thing.
But I can't find a flight from Munich either.
Too bad because I have been flying with them for many years to my complete satisfaction.
You have to book with Lufthansa Dusseldorf via Munich and then with Eurowings to Bangkok, Eurowings no longer flies directly to Bangkok
Optionally with the ICE train and then investigate what is possible from Frankfurt.
Or immediately by train to Munich.
from Dusseldorf, Swiss, Austrian, Lufthansa, Finnair or UIA.
Alternative is booking with UIA from Dusseldorf to Thailand. wait back. Oh I only fly there and back. Swiss, Austrian.
These companies have a relatively short transfer time from Dusseldorf
Usually fly back to Amsterdam with UIA because of the transfer time.
Further From Dusseldorf you can reach Frankfurt or Munich with the ICE in no time.
Book via BAHN.de. Saves a lot compared to the NS.
Eurowings NO LONGER fly from Dus to Bangkok from Nov. see below (confirmed) article. Strange that they did not manage to report this, is known for a long time.
https://www.airliners.de/eurowings-duesseldorf-langstreckenverbindungen/49343
Completely clear.
My thanks, and strange indeed that the lady from Eurowings was unable to tell me this.
Good day, if I do well with Eurowings I can book from 03-01-2020 to 24-01-2020. Departure from Munich to Bangkok
Sorry, I can't add a photo.
That's right, the prices are unfortunately no longer interesting to fly with eurowings.
Must first fly to Munich from Dusseldorf again costs 100-120 extra.
Have also looked at the website again and can indeed be booked from Munich.
Only we always had the BEST class (premium economy) and I don't see that anymore either.
Still looking for a good alternative.
Just an addition to departure from Frankfurt to Bangkok with Lufthansa.
I booked from last week Chiangmai to Amsterdam return.14 -12 -2019 back 14 -01- 2020. Got tickets to Swissair and back with Lufthansa via Frankfurt and a nice price less than 600 €
correct from November Eurowings no longer flies directly from Dusseldorf to Bangkok has been known for months, they should certainly know at Eurowings. I myself will fly directly from Brussels to Bangkok next week with Thai airway costs less than 600 euros
