Dear readers,

The time is approaching when we will definitely emigrate to Thailand. I do have a question. How much net AOW will you receive as a married person if you have deregistered in NL and registered in Thailand? There will be people from NL who will receive this. If you are in NL you will receive € 851,52 net, but how much will this be in Thailand?

I hear things about fine levies, levies from/by CAK, no discounts, etc.

Regards,

Rob from Sinsub

Rob, if you move to Thailand and deregister from NL, something will change in your net old age pension. You can calculate that yourself.

Only 9,42 percent income tax is deducted from your gross AOW, provided it remains as high as if you lived in NL. The national insurance premium and the Health Insurance Act premium will lapse. But the tax credit also expires, so you no longer get it.

You will not receive fines and discounts if you comply with the provisions of the law. Much has already been written about the life certificate in this blog, so I refer you to those texts.
