Just got back from a nice holiday in Thailand (Pattaya). I would like to share my experience with readers who are looking for a nice location to spend the night.

Been coming to Pattaya for 10 years and have stayed in different places, last 15 days I stayed in a good and nice hotel annex bar. Namely the guesthouse Fever in soi LK metro. For the first time I was really surprised that you can have a nice room at this location for a reasonable price 650 baht per night. The rooms are very spacious (and new) and for this price you have a nice balcony. Nothing has been left to chance, you have a nice walk-in shower, large fridge, cable TV. What surprised me was that you could sleep in a nice room under a duvet without hearing the noise of an air conditioner. If you really want a good night's sleep, it is best to book at the back, the music continues to bang in LK until 2.00:2.30 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX a.m., after that it is quiet.

Now a short word about the bar area, the bar looks very fresh and you can play pool for free. The girls who work there are not pushy and important not on their phones, even think that it is not allowed. They are not pushy for a drink which is the case in most bars. You can have breakfast there for a reasonable price of 175 baht. The prices in the bar are reasonable, as are the lady drinks. The business is run by 3 friends who are not afraid to throw a drink or a party with food.

I can say this one. Are you looking for a nice place to stay, try the Fever bar in Soi LK

Looking good. Beautiful location for the enthusiast.
Will often be full, once it is known a bit more.
    How's the WiFi?
I assume there is no elevator.
On the website I read that there is no reception after 3AM. That is not unusual for a guesthouse, but can be experienced as a drawback by some.
Promising, curious if they live up to it and can keep it up for the attractive prices.

      The Best

there is no elevator and the wifi is fine.
After 3 AM it is closed but you have an electric key to enter.
for me it was an excellent experience

I am mainly concerned with departing 'guests'. In my hotel, they don't get their ID back from the front desk until after a phone call and I've confirmed that everything is fine.
I'm quite scared and I like that kind of 'security', with all those criminal ladyboys on the floor. 🙂

For party party ok. Too much noise for others. And metro has also been going downhill fast in the last year and a half. Almost every gogo there will get you caught. Apparently not enough customers.

Visited about 14 gogos in Soi LK Metro about 6 days ago. Bill was all right. 2 draft beer + 2 lady drinks anywhere around 400 Baht.

Know it too. Is a perfect place. Visiting friends sometimes stay there.
Also a tip is that at the end of Walkingstreet is hotel Windy Inn.
Tip get a room on the beach. Have a swimming pool, restaurant (reasonable prices) and close to the pier.left side (walking to the pier) are usually 800 bath per room (for longer stays back to 600.
Opposite and beachfront rooms between 1000 and 1500 (standard).

also very good but less beautiful rooms can be found at 500/600/and 650 Thb with all comforts such as fridge, flat screen TV, air conditioning + fan and fresh towels and sheets every day in Soi 12 at 2nd beach road.
great advantage located in a deadend, ie a dead end street soi 12 on 2nd beachtroad and therefore NO night noise from passing cars.
very conveniently located and in terms of food, in soi 11, within walking distance you can eat as much as you can eat breakfast buffet at various locations for 99 Thb and both Thai and Western. at the beginning of the street, 30 meters away, there is even a nice, clean Thai restaurant where you can get breakfast with toast, 79 jellies, a slice of ham and bacon + coffee for only 2 THB…
so you certainly won't go hungry. i go swimming every day if the weather is good in Sawasdee Siam hotel for 100 Thb at the end of the street on the corner of Soi Bukhao and soi 11.

You're not going to fool me into a dead end street on 2nd Beach Road. Then it is either a dead end from 2nd Road, or a dead end from Beach Road.
You should stand on the market: Calls your competitor: Very nice fish for 6 euros. And then you shout: Slightly less beautiful fish for 6 euros!
      Well, lots of staff.
I'm sorry, I've been a bit nitpicky and recalcitrant the last few days. It is not personal and I hope to report further on my holiday soon, then you may understand that I am sometimes stunned and need Thailandblog as an outlet.

        indeed you are a nitpicker!
a side street from 2nd beach road indeed. a little further you have Kiss Food & Drink and diagonally opposite that street soi 12 you have all those open bars but if you don't believe me then that's YOUR problem. I enjoyed staying there…
It is true that the soi on each side of 2nd Beach Road have different numbers, which can be very confusing.
So Soi 11 is Soi Honey Inn

        • Fransamsterdam says up

The road along the sea is called Beach Road.
The first parallel road, where the Kiss Food you referred to is located, is called Second Road. Also called Pattayasaisong Road.
Second (2nd) Beach Road does not exist.

          • kees says up

Indeed French. You have Beach Road and Second Road. And that numbering dear Jan is very simple. The sois that run from second road to the beach road are, for example, beach road soi 11, etc. If the soi runs in the other direction from second road, it is second road soi 11 or soi Honey Inn.
