Scorpion

We have five cats inside, a black father, a white mother and three black cubs. Outside is a colorful mother with three cubs, one of which is our favourite. White, but with a black nose, black ears and black at the end of the legs and tail. He also visits us when possible. He is welcome, because beauty must be rewarded.

Tonight the two daughters are going to 7-Eleven for a while, when one panicked and runs back inside to get a dustpan and brush. A large scorpion calls them. The other, of course, has her phone in hand, which she uses to quickly take pictures.

It's up to me to determine what kind of specimen this is and whether a sting with her tail is life-threatening. The creature is about 12 centimeters long from head to tail. On Google I quickly find the name: Heterometrus Laoticus or black scorpion. In addition, I find all kinds of comments. From absolutely deadly to at most some pain. That's no use to me. I find a friendly Thai from the countryside the most reliable: not dangerous for people, but perhaps not pleasant for a young cat.

The girls did not kill the scorpion, but released it fifty yards away into the wilderness. The next morning our favorite kitten happily walks in.

Looks a bit like a Sacred Birman.
A cat species with which my wife bred more blissfully and had her own cattery.
At the time, about 14 ladies and 2 gentlemen (separate loft/cage) were walking around in her cattery
Just for fun, lift the animal by its waist with your whole hand under the belly
If everything goes slack, you have the main prize. When the animal is sold, it just goes over the counter for a small 4000 €
Not that you have to sell it, but then you look at that beauty a little differently.

Looks very much like a Siamese to me. You know, those cats that originally come from Thailand.

This is a cat with certainly Siamese blood.
In the Netherlands there is often a different image of a Siamese, but that is because we have two recognized types of Siamese cats: the Traditional Siamese (also called Thai) and the Modern Siamese (a somewhat more extreme cat in appearance). And in this cutie I see the build of our Traditional Siamese.

A Sacred Birman also knows, among other things, the color scheme, but those are long-haired cats.

This is a Siamese. And a very beautiful one. Take it home and never leave it. The dog among cats.

This appears to be a Siamese, although probably not purebred. Siamese come in 6 color varieties. This looks like a seal point simees

I forwarded the photo to my Thai girlfriend in Thailand. She breeds Siamese cats on a limited scale. She also says that this is a Siamese with the addition of a Wichiamat because of the color.
