Creepy beasts in Thailand

Because the scorpion in nature sometimes has to survive for a long time without food, protein-rich nutrients are stored in the body, which makes a scorpion a nutritious meal.
Very painful experience this morning. Accidentally stepped on a mini scorpion. About 3 cm. Light gray in colour. I probably don't need to tell you that this is very painful under the sole of the foot. Immediately took 2 antihistamines and fifteen minutes later only 2 paracetamol against the pain. Is there anything else you should or shouldn't do?
