Dear Martin,
I am 78 years old, weigh 79 kg and I am 1,76 meters tall. Currently I take 1 Rasilez 150mg in the morning for high blood pressure. When inquiring at the pharmacy here, she told me that this drug was unknown. My blood pressure is currently between 140/75 and 145/80. Can I stop taking this medicine or do I have to take a medicine and which one?
I also use Formoterol 12 mcg, I can't find anything else instead. Preferably as a respimat.
Awaiting your reply.
With thanks and best regards,
C.

Dear C,
If your blood pressure remains this way you can stop the Rasilez. If it rises again after a few weeks, then we have to find something other than this exotic medicine.
Formoterol as a respimat is not available in Thailand. You can try with Serevent (Salmeterol). Be careful not to get a mixture of Salmeterol with a corticoid.
Yours faithfully,
Martin Vasbinder
