Thousands of passengers have still not received a refund for their flight that was canceled due to corona. Especially foreign airlines and the so-called intermediaries who sell airline tickets do not pay out. This is evident from inquiries by BNR at three major claims organisations.

Some 5.000 travelers are still waiting for their money. They have been duped for several million euros. They are sent from pillar to post. The ticket website, such as Cheaptickets or the travel agency points to the airline and they do the same the other way around. Some airlines are inaccessible to consumers or they hide behind voucher schemes.

    I knock too.
At Schiphol Tickets for 650 euros.
    Bangkok-Amsterdam with KLM May 26, 2020 return September 2.
Schiphol email sent no response back a few times.
KLM also like that, did get an answer, must be at Schiphol Ticket.
    Because it's booked there.
Calling Schiphol Ticket, will not be answered.
Because I am going to the Netherlands on May 23, 05, I plan to go to the office with all the evidence with me.
Also proof that KLM gave it to them.
But count on me to whistle afterwards.

True indeed, my niece and sister-in-law are still waiting for a refund from Thai airways that has to come through airline tickets.nl. We ourselves had booked directly with Thai airways and our vouchers were simply exchanged by Thai Brussels for new tickets in the summer. It is a drama with airtickets.nl, they do not respond or respond very late. My niece had finally asked if she could convert the refund request into vouchers, but according to airline tickets.nl this was not possible, while the Thai airways website states that this is possible. She also directly contacted Thai in Brussels and also in Thailand, but there they say that it really has to be done via airline tickets.nl because they are the service providers and the refund must therefore also be done through them. But it takes and it takes.

totally correct, I have this experience with Qatar and Cheaptickets
stiff guard and sent a direct letter to the CEO in Qatar
QA refers to ChT and of course that in turn to QA
it took a year to get my money back

And people still keep booking through the 'ticket hunters'……. Completely incomprehensible to me.

I had booked in July 2021 for January 2022 with EVA Air, canceled in September and got my money back 2 weeks later without any problems

Thai Airways is apparently going to carry out the flight that has already been moved several times. The return journey does end in Paris, instead of Brussels. I just accepted it.

My experience: From now on book EVA or Qatar directly, then you will have your money back within a month

I also have the Emirates flight from May 2020, but booked with Bravofly, is simply no longer available, pure mafia practice.
