Reporter: Farang

90-Day notification in person in Chiang Mai. The Promenada Shopping Mall is now the venue for 90-day reporting. After escalator 2nd floor to the left of Bangkok Bank.

After handing over passport & TM-47 and a Farang for me, the “entire procedure” took about 5 minutes.

Office in Promenada only handles Tourist Visas and 90 day notifications. For example, for Non-immigrant OA year extensions, you need to go to the immigration office near the airport!

  1. support says up

I did my 90 day report at the Immigration office at the beginning of October last through the drivethrough. Within 10 minutes. Yesterday, when I retrieved the forms regarding extension of stay, that option was still there.
The fact that Promenada “is now the location for a 90-day notification” is therefore not entirely correct. It is apparently a 2nd location where that can happen next to DriveThrough at Immigration office at airport..

If I have to do some shopping at Rimping/Promenada again soon, I will also look at this option, because it is closer than the airport for me then..
