I would like to share my experience today at Jomtien Immigration Office. Armed with copies of passport, wife's ID, blue book, photos inside and outside my house, map of the route to my house, bank statement statements (12 overviews of monthly transfer of pension money via Kasikorn internat dpt), I am with wife and a witness (acquaintance ) has been to immigration in connection with marriage visa extension.

FYI: Bank statements were NOT accepted. Only residents from those countries where an income statement is no longer issued by their embassies can now submit bank statements.

For Dutch citizens, the well-known visa support letter is still sufficient. I'm still working on this right now.

PS. You no longer need to bring a witness in Jomtien this year. Previous years yes! Maybe next time again.

So you see that it is best to wait and see how new rules will be applied in practice.

In Jomtien it now appears that the monthly deposit into a Thai bank account is only accepted if you have the nationality of one of the Embassies that no longer issue an income statement. May be different at other immigration offices. Future will tell.

Thank you Hans for this info.

This is an example of what the “TB Immigration Information Letter” means, among other things. It might be nice to know that you have the honor of being the first to fill a “TB Immigration Information Letter” with your reader information.
