I would like to have my Thai girlfriend come to the Netherlands this summer to show me what it is like here. Only I'm on welfare. And I wonder if this is a problem with regard to the warranty statement. Since I don't think it's wise to transfer a large amount to her.

My Thai girlfriend is in possession of a Belgian F+ Card (permanent residence card of a family member of a citizen of the Union) valid until September 29, 2020. In the period June 2016 to Aug 2018 she visited me several times with this residence card. visited the Netherlands, so without a visa. My question is whether she can still enter the Netherlands without a visa with her F+ card, which is still activated (checked via eID Belgium). Does anyone have experience with this?

I would like to respond to a post by Joop on Thailand blog dated 08-02-2019 that he could only apply for a Schengen visa on April 4 at the VFS Visa office in Bangkok van de Ned. embassy when he consulted the VFS website on 08-02-'19. I was somewhat confused by this, because my Thai partner wants to land in the Netherlands around April 2, and also had to apply for her Schengen visa on February 8.

I met a Thai girl online, and after several months of contact, I went on holiday in Thailand to meet her. This went well. Now we want to spend 3 months together in the Netherlands on the basis of a tourist visa (Schengen visa). She currently has virtually no money (only for day to day food) and no job. She indicates that this is a problem, because when applying for a visa, the Thai government will think that she is going to flee to seek her happiness elsewhere. However, if she has around 2.000 euros (in Baht) in her account and can prove it, the Thai government will know she has something to come back to and issue a visa more quickly.
