The quality of education in Thailand has been under discussion for some time. One of the responsible factors is certainly the sometimes suffocating discipline imposed on students, and the humiliation they suffer when teachers believe that discipline is being undermined.

I came across an example of three multiple choice questions at a Thai school. It is not clear whether this concerns the upper classes of a primary school or the first years of a secondary school. This is a test on the subject 'applied science of everyday life'.

It seems that people have not yet grown out of the stage of repeating prescribed teaching material in class and those who do not have 'limitations' are soon able to obtain at least a bachelor's degree, at the presentation of which the dressing up and festivities are more likely to take place. suggest a promotion, where only the paranymphs are missing.

Thai students perform poorly in international PISA test

The fact that education in Thailand is very poor is confirmed once again with the results of the international PISA test made by the Thai participants aged 15 years. The students performed worse than most of their peers in other Asean countries and also worse than the international average.
