Chiang Rai is the capital of the northernmost – eponymous – province of Thailand, bordering (clockwise from the south) the provinces of Phayao, Lampang and Chiang Mai and Myanmar and Laos. The mighty Mekong – Mae Nam Khong – forms the border with the latter country.

Yesterday the repairman of our surveillance system came by to make some adjustments to the system. He also checked my TV set in connection with setting channels. BVN regularly disappears from the device and then he has to look for another location where BVN has settled. I have satellite reception.

On October 1, I received a letter from the tax authorities that the deduction of the costs of the integration course that I made in the tax return in 2015 will be reversed by means of Supreme Court ruling no. 17/03158.
