How much does that cost (in Pattaya)?

This blog contains many stories about the many tourist attractions in and around Pattaya. Whether it concerns play and zoos, museums, shows or other attractions, almost everything has been covered.

The intention is of course always to encourage you – with or without the family – to enjoy those attractions. All kinds of details are mentioned in those articles, but often you will wonder what it will cost.

Most attractions do have a website where you can find more details, such as prices and location. You can then organize the trip with your own transport or with a taxi. However, there are also people who don't like that organization and use others to arrange it.

In Pattaya you will find a stall “on every corner of the street”, where a friendly gentleman or lady will gladly help you to go to the Tiger Park in Sriracha or visit a show in Alcazar, for example. You can also go to the regular travel agencies, although air travel and hotel reservations are actually more important there.

There are also professionally organized companies that specialize in day trips and also offer trips to Bangkok, Kanchanaburi and the like. Taxis to the airport, Bangkok and other places are also available.

One of them is the company “Pattaya Central” in Soi LK Metro. I often pass by there and this week I picked up a very extensive program of all kinds of attractions, which are offered either with a day trip or with a multi-day trip. The program is complete with price and departure times.

Pattaya Central has with pattayacentral.com its own, beautifully designed website and the Facebook page also looks good. I will not claim that Pattaya Central is the best address, after all, there are other agencies, but the program gives you a nice overview of the possibilities. Please consider the prices quoted as indicative if you wish to “shop” elsewhere.

Just find out what you want yourself, and look for the address on the internet, and then take a taxi or something yourself to it.. much cheaper usually

If I look at the list like this, you can do many things in or from Pattaya. I don't know this place yet and have never been there because I'm a bit biased and think there are only bars, Russians, Chinese and plenty of Western men dealing with their midlife crisis. Gringo is a good ambassador here and regularly shows that there is also something else. So who knows, maybe I'll check it out sometime in the future. I didn't know there was a bear museum. Kawasaki dirt bike adventure? Or Sanctuary of Truth. Just google what that is.

People have been working for years to make Pattaya attractive for the 'ordinary' tourist as well.
Of course, you cannot ignore the beer bars around Walking Street and the area between Beach Road and Soi Buakhao, with many of them living hotels, but if you deviate 100 meters from these beaten paths, you will find yourself in another world.
Russians are almost gone, since the ruble fell. Chinese people are usually transported in groups to selected establishments, I have never been bothered by it.
By the way, the beer bars can also be very cozy for tourists who have no need to use the services offered. Completely incomparable to any other 'red light district' anywhere in the world, making it unique and well worth an exploratory visit.

Yes, Jack, I live in Pattaya and love this city.

Come and have a look and it will certainly not stop at that one time, guaranteed!
