The Pattaya clinic has existed for quite some time on Sukhumvit Road on the opposite side of the Pattaya Thai. A clinic where physical complaints could be visited and help was offered in a number of cases. This is now closed, behind it is now the new Jomtien Hospital.
Construction activities had been going on for quite some time next to the Chic Republic furniture and accessories department store. Last month, on May 19, the new Jomtien Hospital was opened as an annex to the well-known Bangkok Hospital Pattaya elsewhere on Sukhumvit Road. The opening was performed by mayor Itthiphol Kunplome. This new clinic offers basic medical services in a modern setting with 200 beds.
BHP director Dr Pichit Kangwolkij said the clinic offers a range of services, including checks for diabetics, blood pressure, vision and pregnancy tests, as well as lab tests and x-rays. It will also be a base for local health promotion programs such as iRescue.
Not unimportant to mention that the services will be 20-30 percent cheaper than in the other Sukhumvit Road hospital and, in the near future, there are plans to expand the clinic with further services. Emergencies can be treated at the same level as before at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, 24 hours a day. Specialists in all areas, modern medical technologies support the treatments covered by insurance. This new Jomtien Hospital hospital is an asset to Jomtien, Pattaya East and elsewhere.
