Reader question: Nice Thai shops in Amsterdam
Hi! I have a question. I am looking for cool Thai shops in the Netherlands, with a preference for Amsterdam. So: Thai tea shops, Thai shops/restaurants, Thai massage parlours, etc. I was wondering if you have any tips for me? My thanks are great!
Reader question: Are there AED devices in Thailand?
I regularly watch the news on channel 8.0. Really a sensational channel, but what struck me about the many accidents that can be seen there, there is always manual resuscitation. I never see an AED device in the streets or shops. Are there any in Thailand?
I'm going on a trip and I'm taking back: yellow fever, malaria and hepatitis. Rather not, huh. Get vaccinated and make sure you leave those contagious diseases behind at the holiday destination. Which vaccinations you need differs per country and area. What is certain is that all vaccinations come with a price tag. Fortunately, there is supplementary health insurance, with which you are often (partially) reimbursed for vaccination costs.

My Thai girlfriend lives near Prasat, Surin. She has a 4-year-old son, who recently developed a rash all over his body and a fever. It also itched, and when scratched it opened and yellow fluid came out. Mom was worried and took it to the doctor.
Every year it's the same story: tourists who ignore the red flag on the beach and still go into the sea. Then they have to be rescued, but things often go wrong with a fatal outcome. On Wednesday, an 18-year-old Chinese boy washed up on the beach of Kamala (Phuket).
Reader question: Where to renew Thai passport
My Thai wife has been in the Netherlands for over 26 years and has always renewed her Thai passport here in The Hague. Now we are going to live permanently in Thailand next August, Phimai, and she has to renew her passport again.
The question is where should she do that? Does that have to be done in BKK or can it be done in the municipality where we are going to live? After all those years in the Netherlands, she no longer remembers that.
Reader question: Tax-free gift to a foreign resident
I 'discovered' that in the Netherlands you cannot just give money to someone. Above a certain amount, the tax would also like to get a piece of it. Strange but true. Of course I've googled but I'm not quite there yet.

I have filed a complaint with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the elderly party 50 plus. I am against the nonsensical rule that when obtaining an income statement, only the funds received from the Netherlands are included. Now there are many Dutch people who have also worked abroad. In my case in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and Spain. Well, people do not want to include those amounts, although supporting documents are available.
It could all be a bit less from Prime Minister Prayut who commented on the sexy singer Lamyai Haithongkham. This 18-year-old lady is on stage violently swinging her hips and buttocks, the so-called twerking.
