Farmers from all sides flock to Bangkok to demand payment for the rice they have surrendered. Today they are marching from the Ministry of Commerce in Nonthaburi to the Ministry of Justice and Prime Minister Yingluck's temporary office to demonstrate.
Water shortage threatens Bangkok

'Happy meals' at the Thai homeless shelter
The homeless shelter in the provincial capital of Prachuap Khiri Khan houses more than 300 people. Most of them are mentally and/or physically disabled, but we also meet HIV-infected people, former beggars, vagrants and even some foundlings picked from the street. People with Down syndrome are well represented.

Farmer's protest expanded; government is scrambling
The rice farmers are expanding their protest. They have been demonstrating in front of the Ministry of Commerce since Thursday, and the office of Prime Minister Yingluck will join them tomorrow. The reporting is also quite confused, but we have to make do with it.
Bangkok Airways launches route BKK – Chiang Rai
Bangkok Airways will fly from Bangkok to Chiang Rai twice a day. The first flight will start on March 28, 2014, with the Airbus A320 (162 seats).
