On 7-10-2019 I had booked a flight to Chiang Mai H&T at travel agency Joker (BE). Wednesday 10-11-2021 received confirmation from Joker after 25 months that Thai Airways has refunded the money.

Already deposited into my account today 16-11. So dear people don't despair and have a lot of patience. Thai Airways is not bankrupt.

I do believe that Thai airways is not bankrupt.
The government must have pumped enough support into it, otherwise it would have been in the news for a long time through the media.

But I think your pennies were long paid back to that Joker ticket agency.
I will never book those kinds of internet sellers again, they are hardly accessible, no help desk, do not answer emails and try to sell you all kinds of extra service and insurance.

I suspect they had your money in their bank account for a long time, for their own benefit

I don't think so, I have reported this before but had booked 2 return tickets directly with Thai for a return flight Bangkok-Hong Kong.
That was for a flight in March 2020, but so far no paddle has been seen.
At the first claim I was told that it could take up to six months, now we are a year and a half later without results.

Well I am also one of ticket booked Jan 2020 for a trip in July with the family via skyscanner with a booking with Mytrip to date the legal assistance transferred to Misscasey has not achieved anything yet
The last message was a month ago that the case was put on hold due to no recourse to Thai airways, according to the lawyer, it is now slowly getting back on track

My proposal has now been if they do fly, let them settle the ticket that I and my family are entitled to by writing out the tickets anyway.
I was then advised to contact the airline to which my answer was that if it was that easy then I would not have needed legal assistance.
It is absurd that in this situation, caused by measures taken by the government, the consumer is the victim of this

I would like to hear the correct data showing that Thai airways is not financially affected.

Joker Reizen has 7 travel offices in Flanders and is not an internet seller.

I can't follow it right now. I booked a flight with Thai Airways (operated by: Thai Smile Airways) from Bangkok to Chiang Mai in December. How can I book a flight if people are waiting for their money to be refunded if the company is / is not bankrupt. Not bankrupt, strange that the victims have not yet received their money back. Well bankrupt, how is it possible that you can still book flights via skyskanner with Thai Airways …….

You have to read carefully before you can follow it

In my writing I mentioned booked January 2020 when there was still nothing to do with regard to Corona measures the problem arose when the lockdown etc in May June the uncertainty about travel started.
The government should have known that this kind of situation could arise.
Once again the tickets have been bought for all Corona states.

Bankrupt. No. But very exciting to order your ticket. Ordinary ticket is no problem through internet. Booking a ticket with a voucher is another matter. You must book this through the local office. Brussels for me. Been trying to get my ticket for 14 days with no results. Emails are not answered. Telephone contact is not possible. Not even in Bangkok.

      Luke,

I think Thai Arways doesn't even have an office in Brussels anymore, for myself I contacted the London office.

It took about 10 days, but finally got results.

Thank you Theo and Ronny. After an email to Frankfurt, I suddenly received an email from Brussels with a ticket proposal.
    So it's okay. Regards Luc.
