Qatar Airways will fly to Schiphol Amsterdam
Qatar Airways confirmed this week that it will fly daily with a B16 from Doha to Amsterdam from 2015 June 787.
This message is interesting for Thailand travelers because competition on the Amsterdam – Bangkok route is increasing, which almost always has a positive effect on the prices of airline tickets. Qatar is, next to Emirates and Etihad, the third Arab airline to fly from Schiphol.
On Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the flight departs Doha at 08.25:14.00 and arrives in Amsterdam at 16.10:08.20. The flight departs from Schiphol to Doha at 16.20 pm. On the other days, the flight departs from Doha at XNUMX:XNUMX and the aircraft departs Amsterdam at XNUMX:XNUMX.
There is room for 254 passengers on board in two classes: economy and business. There are 22 full flat seats available in business class. The flight time between Amsterdam and Doha is about 6,5 hours. Travelers who want to fly from Amsterdam to Bangkok will have to transfer in Doha.
Qatar Airways is the flag carrier of Qatar with its home base in Doha. The airline is one of six airlines worldwide (and the only one in the region) with a five-star rating from Skytrax.
Experience from Brussels.
It is fun to fly to Doha with the dreamliner, and then you can take the A380 to BKK.
(sometimes it's a 777, you can check).
If you ever fly business, for less than 2000 euros you have a "flat" seat and super service.
Economy in the dreamliner the seats are slightly narrower compared to the 777, in the A380 it is quite nice to stay.
…this is a purely personal opinion of course.
beautiful due to busy occupation to bkk. what will be the price and is there connection to bkk from doha?
I consulted my crystal ball for you, but that did not clarify the price. Just wait for it to be announced. It is of course to be expected that it will be made attractive to opt for this company, especially in the initial period.
Regarding the connection from Doha to Bangkok: Qatar flies at least four times a day from Doha to Bangkok.
Out of curiosity, I looked up the layout of the Qatar 787 on the seatguru website. Contains quite a few negative comments about the seats and space in Economy. Business looks very spacious in terms of layout.

Seats can be read in the stacking class at 31, just like at KLM. But maybe it's those smart and thin seats that are in with new devices.
