Qatar Airways has been named the World's Best Airline 2017 at SkyTrax's World Airline Awards. Singapore Airlines is number two, followed by All Nippon Airways.
The presentation of the prestigious award took place on Tuesday during the Paris Air Show 2017. SkyTrax annually conducts extensive research into the quality of 325 airlines. This year, nearly 105 million survey forms were completed by travelers from XNUMX countries.
Qatar Airways won by a large majority. The airline also won the World's Best Business Class, Best First Class Lounge and Best Airline in the Middle East awards.
Last year Emirates won, but this year the airline from Dubai came fourth. KLM can be found in 22nd place, two places higher than last year. THAI Airways International recorded an excellent eleventh position.
Awards were also presented in numerous other categories, such as 'World's Best Cabin Staff' where THAI Airways came fourth. My last experience with EVA, on the return flight last May, I was unable to log in to the plane's WiFi network. A flight attendant sees me trying and asks if she can help. I have flown with Qatar once and it was indeed very well organised. However, this price at this time comes with the necessary caveats. Qatar is certainly very good especially at take-offs and landings. Eva -air may come second to mj, always good service and perfect flights.
