Nok Air lowers airline ticket prices
Nok Air comes with lower fares on a number of routes. These rates can be booked from now until June 24. You can fly from June 17, 2013 to March 29, 2014.
This offer is called “Jing Jai” (sincere). You can book a one-way ticket from Bangkok to Phitsanulok, Nakhon Phanom, Ubon Ratchathani and Udon Thani for just 990 baht (net fare).
This promotional rate also applies to the Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son and Mae Sot route. The other destinations will cost 1090 baht, see table below.

- Any changes of itinerary must be made at least 1 day before an original booking departure via Call Center 1318. Passengers making changes must pay for changing fee and additional differences which may be surplus from an original fare. Payment must be made by credit card only. In case that a new fare is less than an original price, we reserve the right not to remit an exceeding amount of the decreased fare.
- For any other regular fares, the booking and payment can be made at all channels as normal practice.

It is not stated that the rates only apply to certain departure times. To Phitsanulok, for example, the fare only counts for the earliest flight at 6:20 am. It's always something with those promotions. Seems enticing but then the cat gets on the tightrope.
Booked Nok Air Udon-ChiangMai two weeks ago for December, return 2.200 bath.
Nok Air regularly has good offers. If you want to book shortly before departure, Nok is often cheaper than AirAsia. Conversely, AirAsia is cheaper if you book far in advance. Last week I went for 1.400 bath return from Udon Thani to Phuket, but booked half a year ago.
