Is this the cheapest KLM deal to Bangkok in 10 years? You too can enjoy the comfort of a non-stop KLM flight to Thailand for a while. However, you have to travel by train from Antwerp Central to Schiphol. Fortunately, that ticket with the Thalys is included in the price of € 446.

Many questions arise about the Belgian KLM ticket construction. "Can I skip the train part?" or 'can I check in online for my flight?'. The answer to this is and remains no, no and again no. If you do, KLM will impose an annoying surcharge of many hundreds of euros at Schiphol.

Stick to the specific rules and fly to Bangkok even in August for the lowest price!

Details:

  • Bangkok from Antwerp € 446
  • When to book: the Antwerp deal is still valid until Tuesday 11 June 2013 (23:59)
  • When to travel: until October 31, 2013 (except July/August)
  • Minimum stay: 1 week. Maximum stay: 1 month
  • Hand luggage: 1 piece with a maximum weight of 12 kg
  • Checked baggage: 1 suitcase or backpack with a maximum weight of 23 kg
  • Flying Blue: 25%

Check and book available seats: via the direct advantage link with KLM (select Antwerp Central as departure point).

Explanation: Flying with KLM from Antwerp Central.

Read this step-by-step plan carefully before traveling with KLM from Antwerp Central.

  • Buy a one-way ticket and travel from a Dutch station to Antwerp Central
  • Show your KLM ticket at the counter in Antwerp, you will then receive a train ticket Antwerp-Schiphol
  • Make sure you have your train ticket stamped on the train to Schiphol so that you can show it during check-in
  • Go to the check-in desks at Schiphol to receive your boarding pass and hand in your hold luggage (think about possible long queues, so don't take too short a transfer time between train and plane)
  • With these tickets you can reserve a seat from the moment of booking. Online check-in is not possible on the outward journey
  • Follow this procedure and never come directly to Schiphol without a stamped travel ticket. In that case, KLM will charge you an additional tax as if your ticket would simply start from Amsterdam. In almost all cases you can count on a hefty fine of many hundreds of euros. Unfortunately, this still happens to dozens of passengers every day. Always play the game with the much cheaper Belgian tickets according to KLM's rules.
  • On the return journey, you can simply get off at Schiphol, collect your suitcase from the belt and head for home. You are then not obliged to take the train to Antwerp.

It's true, but you can expect greater nonsense from a company like KLM,
And then also say that they are (green).
There are other airlines that are also just cheap.
If you fly ETHIAT with departure from Amsterdam and back, for example Düsseldorf, you have a year ticket
    or shorter, with more luggage.
And then no nonsense first to Antwerp.

This of course depends on where you live in the Netherlands, because in that sense it is actually nonsense to land at Düsseldorf on your return, because then you will also have to undertake a (long) journey to get back home.

Yes Cor a bit too simply nonsense. You apparently don't live far from Schiphol.
I live in the south and with me another “couple”
We are in Antwerp by train in no time. And then on to Schiphol in 1 x, is simply a luxury.
I already have tickets otherwise I would have done it for sure.

We have seen several ticket deals in recent weeks, probably more people like me have experienced that you miss out on the "deal" if you are bound exactly to certain departure or arrival dates. Nevertheless, it is nice to see these deals pass by and give rise to another hour of creative searching. You have to give something to be in the ringside for a dime… In itself, I find it striking that there is now apparently a lot of stunting on the AMS-BKK route, I myself prefer to leave from Dusseldorf and that is (at the moment) more expensive. Also striking; it is so quiet in Dubai, where is Emirates? Do they have that A380 full from AMS every day?
And btw, if you're looking for bargains like me, count in too; travel time, parking costs and/or transport to the airport, whether or not a connecting domestic flight, in some cases you think you are going cheap, but that is at the expense of the travel time!

Does it mean that until 31 Oct. can fly away? Or do you have to be back on Oct 31?

    • Khan Peter says up

You can book tickets for the travel period until October 31. So you can fly in June, September and October

This offer has been on display at KLM.be for many weeks
I already booked this promotion on May 15 for 447 euros with departure from Antwerp CS with Thalys (no Fyra haha) for departure on H/T in October.

    That's a pity too late.

She had also booked at this time last year for € 499,00 at klm.be. before going in October and back in November.

We live in Zeeland so departure from Antwerp is no problem.

Train tickets were not checked at shiphol then, had to check in at the machine, were not asked for the train tickets at all. What was strange is that we could not check in in advance via the internet.

Be careful with that high-speed train, the Thalys had an hour's delay with us, a broken switch at Leiden or something and then it becomes a run at Schiphol and you almost miss your flight.

Yes, I agree, Antwerp is not that crazy from the south. And delay…. Yes, it is also possible with Purmerend's boomeltje.

We have also booked: two weeks ago. Two tickets including surcharge for 911 euros. Outward journey October 16 and return November 8. We have to catch the 14.31 pm train in Antwerp. Is this time mandatory or can we also go earlier? We fly from ams to bkk at 17.50 pm. Do you know?
