EVA Air will fly from Amsterdam Schiphol to the Thai capital Bangkok again from 2 July. During the corona pandemic, the Taiwanese airline only flew cargo to Amsterdam.

From the beginning of July, there will be three flights a week to Bangkok with a Boeing 777-300ER. EVA Air will deploy a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner during the winter season, a representative of the airline reports to Luchtvaartnieuws.nl.

Earlier there were reports that EVA Air would resume flights to Bangkok on June 2, but the airline has apparently backed off from that.

EVA Air is praised by Thailand travelers for the good service on board. The spacious luggage space is also an advantage. For example, passengers traveling in Economy Class are allowed to take thirty kilos of luggage with them. Travelers in the Elite Class (premium economy) are allowed to check in a total of 35 kilos of luggage and travelers in the Royal Laurel Class can take XNUMX kilos of luggage.

EVA Air is one of 10 airlines in the world to receive a five-star rating from SKYTRAX.

Really worthless that EVA changes aircraft so that the premium economy class can no longer be booked. That is slightly more luxurious than economy and not as crazy expensive as business. Hopefully other airlines will add that class.

You can book Premium Economy on the 777, unfortunately not on the 787.
Incidentally, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, Austrian and Swiss Air also offer Premium Economy, and Emirates has started offering that class, albeit not yet from/to Amsterdam

Sure, but unfortunately none of these airlines go directly from Schiphol. I'm not a fan of stopovers and they don't always have premium on both flights.

Badly declined eva air by not adding a premium id to their 787 fleet.

Let's not even talk about converting their 777 economy seats from 9 to 10 in a row

Lufthansa premium eco in the more comfortable a350 with transfer in Munich booked for 900 euros in January

    No regrets

That of the seating arrangement is incorrect. EVA is one of the few that still has the 9 in a row arrangement in the 777. Much better and more comfortable than KLM. I have already booked for July 2nd 🙂

My previous Thailand trip – December 2020/June 2021 – also flew Lufthansa Premium Economy. Was, apart from the switch, absolutely not inferior to EVA.

Of course you can also keep complaining
I'm happy to fly direct again
And if I have to adjust a little because of that, oh well
It makes up for hope when I lie back in my hammock again in the afternoon

An opinion or an explanation is not always a complaint. Thanks for the information!

question: I want to book with this top airline Eva Air to Bangkok, but it is not entirely clear to me, do we now have to show a negative PCR test for the plane.? Not with other companies. But according to eva air this is required? anyone clear on this?
