EVA Air

EVA Air is an airline from Taiwan. EVA Air flies 3 times a week, direct from Amsterdam to Bangkok with its B777-300ER. It then flies on to the final destination Taipei in Taiwan. On board you can choose from 3 different classes, where the Elite class can be considered unique with more legroom and wider seats.

Elite class

The intermediate class at EVA Air, the 'Elite Class' (formerly Evergreen de Luxe), is immensely popular with Dutch people who fly to Bangkok. It is a class between Economy and Business class. Most of EVA Air's Triple Seven Boeings have 63 seats in the Elite Class.

When we look at the reactions on Thailandblog.nl, we see that EVA Air is mainly appreciated for the following advantages;

  • good in-flight service;
  • sufficient legroom;
  • favorable price airline tickets;
  • convenient arrival time Bangkok airport;
  • convenient departure time Bangkok airport;
  • friendly staff.

Certificate

EVA Air receives a beautifully framed certificate on behalf of the readers of Thailandblog. Of course we take a picture of it and a report appears on Thailandblog.

Thanks everyone for voting and soon we will start a new poll.

    Congratulations! So far we have only flown with China Airlines, but after two less pleasant experiences we should definitely give Eva a try. It doesn't matter for the price, I always found CI's arrival and departure time in Thailand very practical: arrive early so that you still have the whole day and leave late so that you can also take almost a whole day there. Next time it will definitely be Eva, and I can finally vote for who I think has the better quality/price ratio. Haven't voted so far, I don't think that's neat if you only have experience with 1 company.

    I'm going to fly with Eva airlines for the first time at the end of this month, yesterday a month ticket
    bought from bangkok to amsterdam, and after 1 month back to bangkok.
    I found the price very reasonable just over 30000 bath, looking forward to it !!

    I have flown with eva air before
    a very good society
    fly with it to the Netherlands again in March

    Congratulations EVA, never flew with you, but my friends are always very satisfied and apparently the bloggers too. Still, I get a bad feeling when I look at that list and it is actually quite normal that it goes and will continue to go between the first 2 since they also have the cheaper prices and fly directly. Of course it cannot be the case that Malaysian Airlines is on 14, but Khun Peter will find out very soon, because I understand that he flies with this airline! And so are a few more.

    Correct what Math says. The list is a reflection of which airline has the cheapest
    (directly) offer tickets. Due to KLM's action, it is now 3rd.
    Fly with KLM to Bangkok in 2 months. € 687,- all in.

    Have flown many times with EVA air. Great seats and good legroom and a pleasant service. Very good departure times from Bangkok. Definitely recommended.

    An addition:
    I have flown with Malysia Airway, Emirates, Egyptian Airway, Air Berlin and Jetairfly, among others.
    Also with Air Asia via Kuala Lumpur to London (2012)
    Big differences? Not for me. Bad food? No, TV screen in front of you? with some yes and with some no and with Jetairfly an ipad.
    I always take my own tablet with me so it's not very important what's on the plane.
    Seat space? The biggest irritation is for the neighbor who keeps folding the chair back.
    And then also doesn't fold his table when he wants to get out.
    Other than that, it's just a price comparison. There are really no bad companies. It also largely depends on the crew.

    A comparison with the train: the Starbucks coffee in the trains in the Netherlands is sometimes good and sometimes bad.

    Great, these kinds of states.
    Three votes represent 0% (Swiss) and 0 votes represent 1% (Qantas, excluding the u).
