Cheap flights to the capital of Thailand? That is possible with Emirates from Amsterdam. You can book this flight ticket offer on the Emirates website until April 30. You can travel to Bangkok from now until December 10, 2014.

Just flying the Airbus A380, the largest passenger plane in the world, is of course an experience in itself. This widebody aircraft has two floors and can accommodate up to 853 passengers. With an average configuration, 555 people enter. Emirates already has 44 in service and has ordered a total of 140. No other airline flies with so many of these air giants.

for a few hundred euros extra, you can fly - without hours and hours of delay in Dubai (of all places!) - to BKK. check it out.

Between 7 and 12 hours transit time in Dubai, I don't find this offer that interesting

    • Henk says up

Already booked with China air for early 2015; direct 655,-

    • rebell says up

That's not right by any means. The transit takes between 3-4 hours. The information 7-12 am is freely fabricated. There is also no source reference. Nice and handy - you can say whatever you want. See also Eric's correct comment
In addition, you can fly from Dusseldorf even cheaper for only € 529. return with Emirates. They have not 44 but already 46 copies already in use. .

  3. Eric says up

    Good search.
    Ams–Dubai–BKK
    BKK – Dubai- BKK
    In the summer holidays, 22-7 / 23-8
2 1/2 hour transfer on the way there
3 1/2 hours transfer on the way back.
    640 €
Only AMS-Dubai and Dubai – AMS with the A380.
    I am already looking forward.

    • Cornelis says up

Eric, you don't get those shorter transfer times for the price mentioned in the offer, so Steven is not wrong in that sense. Incidentally, I would like to pay a little more to avoid those long waiting times, but not everyone is willing to do that.

      • rebell says up

It's strange that other people have that short waiting time. See offer Emirates Dusseldorf Bangkok €529. Ko.ret waiting times are also possible from Schiphol - see the comments for others

    • Christina says up

Rather something more 3 1/2 hours is too long for me. But how do you possibly book with a stopover? Hotel is not a problem.

      • great martin says up

If you want to book a stopover with Emirates, simply click the stopover box. Max = 3 x 24 hours, so 3 days. You don't have to pick up your suitcase in Dubai if you don't want to. You indicate this when you check in in Europe. From Dubai Airport, a sky-train-metro combi goes almost 25 km outside the city. Please note that it only runs from 13:00 on Fridays.
I always take a Hotel near a Metro Station (Dubai-Deira). I always have my suitcase booked through to Bangkok - never had a problem with this.

  4. dwayn says up

Yes funny… haha… you fly in an A380… wow… take your pajamas with you because you will be waiting for hours in Dubai… both there and back! In short, look further. Every week there is an action in the 'legs-in-my-neck' class.

    • great martin says up

So apparently never flown Emirates? But comment? It is strange that the Emirates, with their so-called long waiting times and so-called neck class, have become the best airliner in the world. And that after being number 5 or. had stood 3. But that was chosen by people who have flown with the Emirates and therefore knew what they are talking about.

  5. They are says up

We fly July 23 and August 13 for 54000 THB for 2 adults. and 1 baby.
There is a 2-hour layover on the outward journey and a 3-hour return journey. ie. it is possible!!!

You need luck for a short stop!

Fly with Emirates on June 4 Amsterdam Bangkok waiting time in dubai 1.5 hours.
You can have a good time there. They have showers etc. The Emirates lounge area is also very good. Here you have free access.

My one-way ticket cost only 233 euros.

  7. Rolf says up

Yes, I also see those prices and at first glance it seems a lot cheaper, but you realize that you either spend hours hanging around in Dubai, or, and then it is more expensive but more comfortable,
You book a hotel in Dubai.
It won't get you anywhere, unless you want to see Dubai once or not the full 12 hours in a row,
with indeed, your legs behind your neck, want or can spend in cattle transport. Then it can be a welcome break, but for the price it doesn't have to be for me.

  8. Jack G . says up

These offers on Thailandblog usually cause a lot of controversy. Fortunately, because the bangkok route is a route where there is competition. I like to fly with Emirates and less like direct. I'm a real Dutchman and slightly longer than the standard size for the 'legs in my neck class'. I actually never sleep in an airplane and then a direct flight takes quite a long time. I can walk around in the sandbox, stretch for a while. It has now become 2 short flights that fly by quickly for my feeling. There are also disadvantages. I arrive later than China Airlines because I stay in the sandbox for more than 3 hours. The afternoon arrival does have the advantage that you can quickly pass the stamp post. Last year I once stood there for over an hour in the morning. It is a conscious choice for me and I feel great about it. And those who want to travel via Antwerp or via Istanbul. Or even directly with KLM. I can do it all!! I don't make a fuss about that.

    • Christina says up

If you are a senior you don't have to stand in line for a long time, it is indicated. Last counter on the right. Even if you leave Thailand otherwise ask. If you are still young enough, you can wait.

    addition……
This is an offer that I really found and actually booked.
    Month ago.

  10. Sir Charles says up

Short stopovers are indeed possible, I once experienced this for €650, but as Eric already indicated, not all 4 flights are operated with an A380, but also with a Boeing777.
That's not the worst thing and certainly not for that price.

My wife and I already booked with Emirates 4 months ago; 615,- euros pp
Amsterdam – Dubai 3.15h380. then on to Bangkok. A XNUMX
Return same song , only 3.15hXNUMX. transfer .
Then booked 1 month ago for grandson, 30 euros more expensive, but same conditions.
    Great right .

  12. Daniel Drenth says up

Broer has just booked from Düsseldorf to Bangkok with emirates for € 525. Unfortunately, he has to wait hours in Bangkok, as everyone says, no less than 2 hours on the way there and 1:50 hours on the way back.

Good luck to anyone here complaining about Emirates with the cramped, crappy equipped, direct flights for a lot more money. In addition, you get the grumpy flight attendants for free. Unfortunately, I haven't had any experience with this for 5 years ;)…..

  13. TH.NL says up

2 years ago I flew with them and then the waiting time was indeed 3 hours on the way there and 4 hours on the way back. But despite all the advertisements of a number of readers, that is no longer the case. Always very long waiting times on the outward or return journey. Have a look below. I have taken to their site October 2nd and back November 1st. Other dates do not result in different waiting times unfortunately. The care on board 2 years ago was good but should not be exaggerated. Maybe just a little more like China, Eva or KLM. I would also like to point out that the seat distance is not that much more than with the others. See http://www.seatguru.com/. 32 inches in economy class. 1 inch more than KLM! and the same as Eve. I flew with them twice on an A2 in economy class and it was no different than on any other plane. Nothing special about it. Please don't just say something here, but please research or experience it first

You are absolutely right to take a look. I did that and can't get any further than the one below for a price of only € 525.
On the way there it takes 3 hours between Landen and Starten and on the way back 1 hour 50 minutes. The boarding time is therefore included. So nothing with 7 hours and longer. . waiting and nothing with ca,

See that's what I mean now. To paint a favorable picture, you suddenly take Düsseldorf Airport for departure and arrival. This article is about departure and arrival in Amsterdam.

        • rebell says up

The same company, the same route, more favorable stops, cheaper fare and the train within Germany is free return included. Then you don't fly from AMS anymore, do you?
Just over the border, where many Dutch people start, it is simply better organized and cheaper.
I always really enjoy standing at the emigration desk in Bangkok, with a Dutchman next to me who has also just landed, but has paid (on average) € 150 more.

  14. Joey says up

The A380 is nice but give me the 777. Better in terms of boarding and if you travel alone or with 2 of them you can choose very nice seats in the back of the plane. They are placed at an angle, which gives more legroom. And connection on phuket with emirates. Paid 600 €, I don't choose anything else.
