Fly with KLM's new Boeing 787 Dreamliner
On Sunday 22 November, KLM is organizing three unique Welcome Flights with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Special tickets can be booked via the website www.klm.com/787dreamliner for 149 euros. This price includes all surcharges.
A maximum of four Economy Class tickets can be purchased per booking. The flights depart from Amsterdam Schiphol and land there again after about an hour.
On-board
During the Welcome Flights, passengers can experience the new way of flying in which the aircraft is central. During the flights, the specifications of the aircraft are highlighted, such as the light and the seats. The technological innovations, the very latest interior and the special catering make the flight complete. Catering of new chef
KLM will serve the meals of the Dutch three-star top chef Jacob Jan Boerma in World Business Class on flights from Amsterdam for a year. On the Welcome Flights, this top chef is present on board and serves something special for all passengers.
About the Boeing 787 Dreamliner
On Saturday 14 November, the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner is expected to arrive at Schiphol from Seattle, USA. The aircraft will land at 08.30:22 Dutch time. The aircraft then enters the hangar for KLM's final checks. This aircraft will then be used for the Welcome Flights on November 23. On Monday 787 November KLM will start the scheduled service Amsterdam – Abu Dhabi/Bahrain with the Boeing XNUMX Dreamliner.
This Boeing 787 Dreamliner is the first of a total of twenty-one aircraft that KLM will take into service from the end of 2015. All Dreamliners are each given a unique name and are named after flowers: a typical Dutch export product that is therefore an excellent fit for KLM.
The second device is expected at the end of this year.
