Bangkok Airways resumed domestic flights to the holiday island of Koh Samui last weekend. There are two daily flights from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok to Samui. As of June 1, flights to Chiang Mai, Lampang, Sukhothai and Phuket will be added.

To celebrate the return to Samui, all passengers were given free face masks with the airline's logo.

The airline strictly adheres to the prevention measures established by the Ministry of Health and the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand. This includes screening for body temperature, wearing masks throughout the flight and transferring at airports, on-board seating arrangements with the necessary distance, floor markings to indicate the correct distance in all service areas and on the transfer bus.

Meal service on board is prohibited, as is the consumption of personal food and beverages. Cabin crew must wear masks and gloves during the flight.

The airline has also announced that it will launch flights to Chiang Mai and Lampang in northern Thailand, Sukhothai in the central region and Phuket on the Andaman Sea coast from June 1.
