The German low-cost airline Airberlin and Bangkok Airways announced today that they will expand the existing collaboration.

In addition to Airberlin's non-stop connections to Bangkok and Phuket, Airberlin passengers now also have the option of continuing their flight from the Thai capital to Phnom Penh (Cambodia) with Bangkok Airways. Codeshare flights to Koh Samui, Chiang Mai and Phuket will continue.

Top bonus miles

Topbonus members can now also earn miles across the entire Bangkok Airways route network and redeem their topbonus miles for premium flights with this airline. Airberlin passengers only need to state their topbonus number when booking or present their topbonus card at the check-in desk.

Four times a week from Düsseldorf to Bangkok

Airberlin departs non-stop four times a week in the winter of 2010/2011 Dusseldorf, three times a week non-stop from Berlin and twice a week non-stop from Munich to Bangkok. In addition, there are direct flights from Munich to Phuket three times a week and twice a week from Berlin. Airberlin offers the flights operated by Bangkok Airways under its own flight number.

The above means that Air Berlin customers can choose from no less than 14 flights per week from Germany to Thailand. Airberlin passengers can thus benefit from a wider range of flights and connecting connections.
