Thailand Visa question No. 209/21: Non-immigrant OA – Renewal – Insurance

I have a Non OA visa, valid until December 15, 2021. When renewing at immigration, do I need to have two insurance policies? Insurance in/out patient and covid insurance?

You cannot extend a non-OA visa. You can, however, extend the period of stay that you have obtained with that visa.
When extending a period of stay obtained with a Non-immigrant OA visa, a new insurance period is normally required that covers an amount of at least 40 000/400 000 Baht out/in.
An insurance that specifically covers COVID is not mandatory with an extension.
