Questioner: Joey

Man and woman have a disagreement. He says that you can enter Thailand without a visa for 30 days and can extend 1x at 1900 thb for another 30 days. This way you are there for 60 days without a visa. She says that this is not possible, you always need a visa. Who is right, 1-0 for him, 0-1 for her or 0-0 all 2 wrong?

There is such a thing as a Visa Exemption, which Dutch and Belgians, among others, can use. Upon arrival, the Visa Exemption grants you a stay period of 30 days. You can extend those 30 days once at immigration with 30 days and costs 1900 Baht.

The years have taught me not to tell a woman she's wrong and I wisely stick to that.

He should do that…. 😉
