Questioner: Adrianus

I have obtained a non-immo visa with an expiry date of July 18, then I can apply for an annual extension in Thailand. But the month of July is not convenient for me, I want to stay in the Netherlands for the summer months, so I would like to move this date a few months.

My question is can I first apply for a 90 day extension and at the end of this period a year extension so that I end up with a year extension again in October?

You can obtain a Non-immigrant O visa in an embassy/consulate and it only has a validity period. That is the period within which you must enter Thailand with that visa. It is fixed and you cannot change or extend the validity period.

Upon entry, this visa will grant you a stay of 90 days. Is separate from the validity period of your visa and can therefore go beyond the validity period of your visa. You can extend this period by one year. Not with 90 days. Could also be done with 60 days if you are married to a Thai.

Either you leave it as it is, or you start applying again next time with a new visa that better suits your situation.
