Questioner: Edson

How can I easily get a visa for a stay of 6 weeks with one entry without an intermediary. Can that be done safely https://www.thaievisa.go.th/?
Or can I still visit Amsterdam? Do you have to fill in a form for this and where can I find it?

Visas must be applied for online. Can't do more on the spot. I don't hear anywhere that it is not safe and that has been the case for almost half a year now.

You could also consider, since it is only 6 weeks, to leave with Visa Exemption. You do not need to apply for a visa. You get 30 days on arrival and you can then extend it in Thailand by 30 days. Then costs 1900 Baht.

Be careful with Visa Exemption because at check-in the airline may ask you to prove that you intend to leave Thailand within 30 days. But not all companies ask this, so it is best to first take information from them. Do it by email then you have proof if you don't have to. And if they ask, ask them what will suffice. Sometimes an explanation is enough.

I hear that immigration has been asking more lately to prove that you can show an amount of 20 Baht to pay for your stay. Please note that you can show such an amount. May also be best in Euro.
