Thailand Visa Question No. 074/22: Visa Exemption
Questioner: Janp
I'm going to Thailand for six weeks. Make use of visa exemption, so stamp for thirty days. Then renew at Immigration for another thirty days.
On the KLM site I read something like you can be refused for the flight if you do not have a visa. So now I don't have a visa, but I do have a ticket for six weeks. I must be number one asking such a question, but could it be a problem at Schiphol?
Didn't find the answer (yet) on the site.

It says what it says on their website anyway.
It has also been warned several times (lost count) that you run the risk of having problems at check-in if you leave without a visa or a valid period of stay with re-entry.
You may then be required to provide proof that you intend to leave Thailand within 30 days. Will then have to be done with a continued ticket, or you will have to adjust the dates on your return ticket. Sometimes a statement is also accepted in which you release the airline from all responsibility and costs of return if you are denied access for any reason. Depends on what you want to accept as proof at check-in.
But just applying for a Tourist visa of 35 Euro online, where you immediately receive 60 days upon entry, is not an option, I suspect?
