Questioner: Jack

Soon I have to extend my retirement visa for 1 year. I have this visa from 2017. In December I read that the amount of 800.000 Baht may be increased, but did not read about it later. So is the amount still 800.000 Baht?

Last year there were no requirements about medical expenses if you want to extend a retirement visa. Are there also no requirements for health insurance for the year 2022?

The financial requirements for a Retirement extension are still the same.

To extend a period of residence obtained with a Non-immigrant O, health insurance is not a requirement.

This is the case for extending a period of residence obtained with a Non-immigrant OA.
