Questioner: Klaus

I have a non-immigrant O visa. If I want to extend it next year in Thailand, will I have enough if I can prove that my income is sufficient or do you also need the amounts on a Thai account?

You cannot extend your non-immigrant O, only the period of residence that you have obtained with it. You do not say where you are going to renew and whether you are a Dutch or Belgian, so in short:

  • You must prove your income with a proof of income.
  • A visa support letter from the Dutch embassy is normally sufficient.
  • If it is an Affidavit of the Belgian embassy, additional proof may be requested, such as the origin of the income, or even actual deposits. Depends on your immigration office.
  • In Pattaya, the proof of income from the Austrian Consul is also accepted.

Have a look here. Maybe your immigration office is listed, otherwise go to your immigration office and ask there.
