Questioner: Martin

I am Dutch with a Dutch passport and live in Belgium. I want to apply for an annual visa for Thailand. At which Thai embassy should I apply for this visa? Brussels or The Hague?

I also asked this question to the embassy in The Hague, but received no answer, only I was referred to the conditions. I couldn't find my question there, either that I read too quickly or too superficially.

You can find the answer on the website of the embassy in the E-VISA FAQ

“WHO can apply for e-Vissa with the Royal Thai Embassy, The Hague?

Residents of the Netherlands (currently residing in the Netherlands) may apply for e-Visas with the Thai Embassy in The Hague. Proof of residency may be required. [eVisa: https://thaievisa.go.th]

Those currently residing outside the Netherlands regardless of their nationalities should contact the Royal Thai Embassy in their respective countries/areas.

Nationals of the Netherlands who are currently in Thailand or outside of the Netherlands cannot apply for e-Visa with the Embassy. They must first return to the Netherlands before applying.

Those who are already in Thailand and wish to extend their stay beyond the permitted period (granted by immigration officer upon their arrival in Thailand), please contact local Immigration Office in Thailand.”

Since you are a Dutch citizen with a Dutch passport but live in Belgium, you must make the application in Brussels.

It might be best to get a “Proof of residency”. Possibly a “Certificate of main residence” from the municipality. Can usually be done online.
